This privacy policy (this “Policy”) describes how Silient LLC (“Silient”, "we," "our," or “us”), collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information that a Silient prospective or existing customer (“you” or “your”) provides on the Silient website (www.silient.com) (“Silient Website”), any Silient mobile applications (“Apps”), other software and internet-enabled programs and services sponsored by Silient (collectively, the “Platform”), or when you communicate or interact with Silient, including our customer services team.

By accessing the Platforms on any computer, mobile phone, tablet, or other device (collectively, “Device”), making a purchase from Silient, or otherwise communicating or interacting with a Silient team member, you agree to the terms of this Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Policy, please do not use the Platforms, make a purchase, or otherwise communicate or interact with Silient.

We may modify this Policy at any time and will post the current version on the Website. We encourage you to periodically review this Policy to stay informed about how we are using the information we collect.

    The Platforms are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we will never knowingly collect personal or other information from anyone it knows is under the age of 13. Persons over 13 but under 18 years of age may use the Platforms only in conjunction with and under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

    6. Third-Party Websites and Accounts

    The Platforms may contain links to third-party websites, which may have privacy policies that differ from our own. We are not in any way responsible for the activities and practices that take place on these websites and platforms. Accordingly, we recommend that you review the privacy policy posted on any external site before disclosing any personal information.     We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. You can stop email marketing from us by using the “opt out,” or “unsubscribe” mechanism at the bottom of our email marketing messages. We may give you a choice about stopping just one kind of email or opting out of all email marketing from us.  This opt out does not apply to information provided to us as a result of your purchase of a product, warranty registration, product service experience, or other transactions.

    You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. We will need enough information to ascertain your identity and the nature of your request. We will aim to respond to your request within one (1) calendar month of receipt of the request. Note that deactivating your account does not cause your account information to be deleted from our servers.
